This album is a soul-filled mix of Gurmukhi Shabads (devotional mantric songs from the Sikh Dharma) as well as English songs. The melodies and rhythms of each individual song were created during walks, on a bike, or in meditation. These sacred songs brought her so much joy and love that she wanted to share it with the rest of the world. Every single song is unique and creates a space for relaxation and mental rest. The simplicity and the live character of the songs make them all the more tangible and reinforce their ability to go straight to the heart. Her beautiful vocals are accompanied by her guitar and tabla by Harnarayan Singh, as well as other sounds that weave the whole thing together into a pleasant soundscape.
