Eight Chakras - Jiwanpal Kaur complete

A new “star” in the mantra sky: Jiwanpal Kaur. Their debut album "Eight Chakras" contains eight selected mantras as well as other tracks that form a whole new musical framework. Already at the intro with the mantra “Ong Namo”, which is sung purely a cappella with a stunning choir, it quickly becomes clear: we are dealing with a musical treat here!
The compositions are relaxed, light and jazzy, with a good dose of soul, which comes to the fore mainly through Jiwanpal Kaur's soft, velvety voice. The chants are carried by the brilliant, virtuosic musical accompaniment of soft guitar sounds, masterfully played Indian sarod and tabla, jazzy-loungy bass, as well as congas, kora and above all the atmospheric choir singing. This CD was a shooting star at the Yoga Festival and will be for a long time to come!
